Madison Square Garden is ready to show off the final stage of its three-year renovation. The price is what you would expect to pay to see an event, albeit in crappy seats.
UPDATE on 10/25: New York magazine got inside this week and shows us what it looks like, here.
MSG today emailed its fans a subscriber code to get advance presale tickets to the reopening of its aptly named All Access Tour.
Discovering “the secrets of the transformed Garden” will set you back $34.45: $26.95 per ticket plus US $7.50 in Ticketmaster fees.
The Garden isn’t a bona fide New York City landmark, but it’s still an icon.
While you can wait to see it when your friends come up with Knicks or Rangers tickets--or visit the website commemorating the renovation, www.msgtransformation.com--the access tour promises that attendees will “be a part of New York's Next Defining Moment.”
And paying customers will “get an Insider's look at the state-of-the-art arena and commemorate over 130 years of legendary Garden history.”
The tours, which are time specific, will resume on Nov. 7. The presale ends Friday morning, and the regular public sale, if any tickets remain, will start at 11:00 am.
You can access the presale now on TM here. The code is …“ACCESS.”
