A new real estate brokerage network with links to Warren Buffet is rethinking the industry.
Ten "innovative, young agents and brokers" from among Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, a network operated by HSF Affiliates LLC, have been chosen as inaugural members of "REthink Council."
"It’s a new era in real estate," the release proclaims, "and this council will better connect us with a large and emerging generation of home buyers and sellers."
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, is a new Irvine, Calif., residential real estate brokerage network "built for a new era," the release states. HSF Affiliates LLC, in the same city, operates the BHHS, Prudential Real Estate and Real Living Real Estate franchise networks. The company is a joint venture "of which HomeServices of America, Inc., the nation’s second-largest, full-service residential brokerage firm, is a majority owner," the release states.” HomeServices of America is a Berkshire Hathaway Inc affiliate.
The new group intends to conquer the world, or at least the real estate brokerage franchise world. One of the REthink Council members said in the release that it "stands to redefine the real estate industry" and "will make a positive impact on the growth of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand."
The council members, the release says, "were selected through a nominating process for their outstanding professional achievements and contribution to their communities and offices, each member an exemplary agent or broker with proven integrity, business acumen and drive." The members will have two-year terms.
The actual stated mission: Council members "will seek to enhance the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network, provide feedback to network leadership and benefit other professionals in the industry."
