The New York Times Friday night posted a terrific Sunday Real Estate section cover story rounding up the development in Midtown West. But as the piece, simply titled "Sizzling" in the print edition, teaches us to never call it that.
Go here, and you will find the details on Gotham West, 540West, Stella Tower, Walker Tower, Manhattan Plaza, Clinton Manor, Griffin Court, the Helena, Mercedes House, and unnamed big-deal Durst Organization and TF Cornerstone developments. And how they all fit in with the neighborhood's rich history and coexist now with an overwhelming (impressive?) concentration of bars, a long walk for many to the subway, and Hell's Chicken.
