That didn't take long.
A protest has formed against the new 50-story proposal to revitalize the South Street Seaport that the New York Times reported today and we linked to last night.
You're late: It is scheduled to take place at the Community Board 1 meeting tonight, and protesters, according to Commercial Observer, are gathering within the hour.
The Observer says the protest organizer sent out an email today; the protest begins at the Southbridge Towers community room at 90 Beekman Street, the article says.
A direct link to the Times article with details of the Howard Hughes Corp.'s proposed development can be found here.
