There is an unusual office leasing opportunity in the heart of the hot Flatiron District.
The Olnick Organization, owner of 130 Fifth Avenue, has appointed Eric Cagner and Kyle Ciminelli of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank to handle the transaction.
There is 53,200 square feet available, but 39,000 of it is at the top of the building at the northwest corner of 18th Street, and has an internal staircase in place.
A Real Estate Weekly article says that the historic building’s lobby will begin renovations in the next three months.
Moreover, the building’s availability is a rarity. ”There has not been availability in 130 Fifth Avenue in close to a decade,” he said in the press release, “so the majority of the brokerage and tenant communities are not familiar with the building.”
