UPDATED: Catching up with ....

When we gave you today's news last night, we should have added these two interesting stories from the weekend too.  Here they are now...

  • A big feature interview with Boston Properties titan/TV talking head/newspaper owner Mortimer Zuckerman in Sunday's Washington Post on, among other things, his real estate philosophy and strategy and "trophy properties," and, this morning, Boston Property's  sale of a 45% interest in the Time Square Tower property in October means special dividend for shareholders, here;, and
  • Crain’s New York Business on the "Now-or-never vote on Bronx armory rink plan," the latest on final approvals for the Kingsbridge northwest Bronx former armory, which as to be a Related Cos. mall, became a fight over living wages, and is now, much more modestly but probably more interestingly, targeted to be an ice palace headed by one of city’s legendary skaters, Mark Messier.
